Glenn Beck being a self proclaimed history scholar must have told his devoted followers about how for example;
Thomas Jefferson taught himself Arabic from his own copy of the Qu-Ran and hosted the first Iftar during Ramadan at the White House.
John Adams hailed the Islamic prophet Muhammad as one of the great “inquirers of truth”
Benjamin Rush, who was so Christian he wanted a Bible in every school, also said he would rather see the opinions of Confucius or Mohammad “inculcated upon our youth” than see them grow deprived “of a system of religious principles.”
Benjamin Franklin once declared: “Even if the Mufti of Constantinople were to send a missionary to preach Mohammedanism to us, he would find a pulpit at his service.”
George Washington personally welcomed Muslims to come work for him at Mount Vernon.Sultan Mohammed ben Abdallah of Morocco was the first world figure to recognize the independence of the United States of America from Great Britain in 1777. Another reason was that the Founding Fathers also demonstrated in the Treaty of Tripoli in 1797 that

New York Republican Congressman Peter King s holding another hearing on the issue of radicalized Muslims in the United States….I was unaware there was a problem but he feels they are a nuisance. He drew attention to himself earlier this year with his hearing on the inevitable inside destruction of America and its core values due to modern radicalized Muslims now he is saying that the American prison system is going down the drain due to “the threat of Muslim-American radicalization in U.S. prisons.”
“At this hearing, we will look specifically at the extent of the dangerous problem of radicalization in U.S. prisons,” King said in a statement Thursday obtained by CNN.
“We have seen cases in which inmates have been radicalized at the hands of already locked-up terrorists or by extremist imam chaplains.” “We will focus on a number of the serious cases in which radicalized current and former inmates have planned and launched attacks or attempted to join overseas Islamic terrorist organizations,”
King is also is a chair member to the Homeland Committee on Homeland Security.

The Dalai Lama, spiritual leader to thousands of Buddhist, overall peaceful man, crossed the line with the conservative, Christian loving people of Glenn Becks fan club when he said that he was a Marxist.
Why is this a big deal? I don’t know, it really shouldn’t be. Tibet if a government in exile and its leader is supposed to be the Dalai Lama. I do not know much about the theories of Karl Marx, I do know that the closest thing to communism is in Tibet.

Glenn Beck fans are chalking up a win for Religion at the failed finding of the Higgs Boson otherwise known as the God Particle.
The funniest part is that the “God Particle” has nothing to do with God itself. But even though they see it as a competition between science and religion it is really more about understanding the makings of the universe. I have noticed that whenever science moves in to prove or disprove the bible or God for that matter it really worries the Beckians and other religious zealots.
They [The Beckians] fell life should consist of nothing but God and all laws be taken from the Bible, except any other religion that doesn’t see Christ as a lord and savior.
